that's an insult
This comment is used all the time in the USA meaning the person wanders around looking for something in this case patterns.
It is ment as a good thing in this case. If it weren't for Kitty Kat we may not have patterns on this website. She's found a bunch while I've been busy and been sending them to me on a regular basis.
